Who We are

The Apostolate of the Divine Mercy was founded at the end of the 90′s when a group of lay people and members of the clergy from the Archdiocese of Miami, committed themselves to spread the message of the Divine Mercy, just as the Lord had asked St. Maria Faustina in the 1930′s of the last century. It was recognized, approved and blessed by His Excellency John Clement Favarola, Archbishop of Miami, who appointed Deacon Rafael de los Reyes as Spiritual Director on August 27, 2001.

We are a not-for-profit entity incorporated and organized in the state of Florida, USA. Our activities and financial administration are under the direction of a Board of Directors made of fifteen members, including three corporate officers – President, Secretary and Treasurer. The Board of Directors is chaired by the Spiritual Director.

The Apostolate of the Divine Mercy, Inc. is a tax exempt corporation under the guidelines of section 501(c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Service Code that allows tax deductible donations from persons who contribute to the deeds of mercy and mission of the Apostolate.
